Dementia awareness

There is considerable internet information available on dementia issues, and a growing awareness in local communities. North Berwick, for example, is now a designated 'dementia friendly town', and has recently launched a new club to which Dirleton residents are welcome.

Dementia Friendlly North Berwick joined with the North Berwick Coastal Partnership to become NB! The Club! late in 2016.
The Club holds regular meetings on the first Tuesday of the month in the Hope Rooms, North Berwick to which everyone is welcome, and in particular a warm welcome to those with dementia.
