News Update on Catlemains Application
CALA to withdraw its current Planning Application pending a review.
CALA has informed the DVA that as part of any application they constantly review their proposals as well as responding to consultation responses - both justifying their stance and changing things when there is good reason to do so.
And on this basis, they will be withdrawing the current planning application at Castlemains, holding a second consultation event specifically addressing the issues raised by Dirleton Expects amongst others. They then plan to submit a fresh application in late November/early December.
The DVA is encouraged by this statement and CALA's withdrawal of their much criticised planning application and are looking forward to working with them in the design of a revised scheme that reflects and respects the unique characteristics of our village and it's surrounding area.
The Castemains Application is closely connected to the DVA's Response to the latest Draft of the Local Devlopment Plan.
